 In this blog, I am going to share my experience about a children's book called "Enchanted Numbers: Cinderella's Fractional Journey", written by Mr. J Parker Rowland


About the book- Cinderella, an improper fraction, dreams of transforming into a mixed number to attend the royal ball hosted by King Calculus and Queen Geometry. Her stepfamily, the Irrational Numbers, make fun of her every day. One night, Cinderella encounters the Magical Mathematician. He guides her through an adventurous journey, teaching her how to convert into a mixed number. At the ball, she meets Prince Algebra and discovers a shared love for mathematics. The story blends fantasy with mathematical concepts, encouraging young readers to explore fractions. Cinderella's journey not only leads to self-acceptance but also changes Numeria's perception of different numbers, promoting inclusivity and the joy of learning math.'






My experience- My experience with this particular children's book was very unique and unforgettable. One of the reasons for such an experience is the concept of this children's book. This book was about fractions and ways in which children can explore and understand fractions in a simple fashion. I really appreciate the hard work done by Parker Rowland in writing this particular kids book. When I initially communicated with Parker, it took me some time to understand the concept and it was also challenging for me to assign an expert children's book Illustrator for this particular kids book. But once the illustrations begin, parker was happy and the Illustrator also became comfortable with the overall concept. We receive the lord of valuable inputs from the author which helped the Illustrator in creating suitable children's book illustration. One of the interesting things was that the author initially purchase 15 inside book illustrations but later ended up purchasing 2 more illustrations. One of the Unique things about the book is how the author has used popular characters like Cinderella who has interactions with King calculus, Queen geometry and Prince algebra. The book turned out extremely beautiful with all these picture book illustrations adding to the overall charm of this wonderfully written children's book.



Authors experience- The author was initial skeptical about using who was the assigned for his children's book. After a few lines of discussion with me, I was able to win the confidence of the author. I suggested, that it would be good if we create a character design before moving on with full range of illustrations. Initial sketch was liked by the author and then the rest of the book illustrations were easy. The overall experience was great and we all work together as a wonderful team. Parker was very helpful in sharing the Deep insight about the concept of the book which was slightly difficult from my illustrators point of view. Since it involved mathematical numbers and concepts, the illustrator was slightly confused in the beginning, but ended up doing fabulous job. In the end, Parker shared some wonderful words with me regarding the overall happiness that you received through the work of the illustrator and blueberry illustrations.

  In this blog, I am going to share my experience about a children's book called " TAMARA AND OREO: THE ADVENTURES OF THE ALPHABET TREASURE HUNT!",  written by Stephanie Gartmann and Jennifer Cathryn Henriquez.   About the book -  Stephanie Rose Gartmann was born in Switzerland and has dual nationalities, Swiss and American. She and her daughter, Jennifer Cathryn Henriquez, wrote this book in memory of Oreo, the brown dog who suddenly passed away. He was such a sweet and caring dog.
